Collins College is a private, for-profit career college focusing on design and technology. The school is located in Tempe, Arizona, with a branch campus in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Collins was founded in 1978 by Al Collins as the Al Collins School of Graphic Design. Collins offers associate's and bachelor's degrees in Animation, Game Art, Game Design, Game Programming, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Media Arts: Digital Video, Film / HDTV Production, Visual Effects & Motion graphics; Network Technology, and Visual Communications. Approximately 2,000 students were enrolled at the end of 2005. Collins College is owned by the Career Education Corporation which operates over eighty for-profit post secondary schools. The accrediting body for Collins is the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology, or ACCSCT.
